In Ysleta Independent School District, we are proud to serve our military families.  We are honored to have your children with us and would like to help make your child’s education a smooth and worthwhile experience.

We support military-connected children and families by:

• Introducing a Student Ambassador Program that helps introduce new military families to our school and staff

• Planning and coordinating activities featuring military students, families and veterans

• Hosting the April Month of the Military Child and May Military Awareness Month, and celebrating our Military families through a series of school-wide events

• Hosting a Veteran's Day breakfast at our annual Veterans Days celebration

• Providing priority status in the school’s enrollment process for children of active-duty families
